WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?

 Hypnosis is a powerful tool to heal and empower your life. It's a simple, gentle and effective relaxation method that can create positive and powerful changes in you. For hypnosis to be effective, however, it’s like anything else in life, you first must have a desire for change, belief that change will happen, and the motivation to see it through.

Science has proven that everything we have ever done is stored in our subconscious mind. When we can access our subconscious, we then are able to change or modify our old belief systems. We weed out the old thoughts, patterns, and stories to plant new seeds that take root and flourish.

 

Hypnosis is a peaceful journey into a state of deep relaxation that reaches the subconscious mind for positive change to  happen. Where the mind goes, the body responds. The hypnotic state is known as a “trance” and feels very similar to daydreaming, fantasizing or zoning out--something we do on a daily basis. 

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

 

As your hypnotherapist, I will be with you on this peaceful journey to guide and support you into this relaxed state where I will give you positive suggestions (mutually agreed upon ahead of time) that will be planted in your subconscious to nurture your desired changes and goals. You are always safe and in control at all times.

 

To begin this peaceful journey into the subconscious, you’ll get comfortable either in a chair, on the couch or floor--whatever is most comfortable for you. I will then guide you through a relaxation induction for your body to release all tension and stress. This allows for deeper relaxation and creates mind-body connection.

 

I will then guide you into a light trance state by counting down from 10 to 1. As I countdown, your relaxation will deepen. I will then guide you through visual imagery that is personal to you so your relaxation deepens even more--it's a blissful state. I will then offer new  suggestions that support your desired changes. These positive suggestions will be planted into the soil of your subconscious.  These new healthy seeds-of-suggestion will take hold and will flourish in time with care and commitment.

 

I will then gently guide you back to your normal consciousness, where you will awaken feeling relaxed, refreshed, and inspired from this productive and peaceful journey.
